YOMRA is a Youth Council in Yomra, Trabzon - Turkey. YOMRA was founded in September 2004. YOMRA YOUTH COUNCIL is facilitates international exchanges for young people, promoting youth initiatives to develop society in general; exchanging experiences will carry the individual development phase of youth to a different dimension.
OBJECTIVES
- To raise the role and participation of young people in state’s political, economical and social life
- To enlarge and develop the youth movement
- To create appropriate conditions for young people’s self-expression
ACTIVITIES
- YYC is cooperating with municipality and other NGO’s around Trabzon.
- YYC is implementing cooperative solutions to common problems related with environment, development of the country at national and local level.
- YYC is assisting the youth while adapting the emerging socio-cultural structure and social life.
